ERIA in collaboration with CIL aimed to conduct research on how to utilise the CIL developed Database on ASEAN+3 research inventory on marine plastic debris to inform regional policymaking and strengthen response to pollution from marine plastic debris.
CIL presented the research outcomes on the following two themes:
Capacity Assessment of each ASEAN+3 country in Monitoring on Marine plastics and microplastics
Marine plastics preventative policy effectiveness analysis
