BIOSTARCH BIO40E: Advanced Bioplastic with Rapid Decomposition and Heat Resistance

BIOSTARCH BIO40E is made from 40% starch and 60% virgin PP plastic. Our bioplastic product provides not only a short decomposition time but also more reliability and heat resistance than other non-biodegradable plastic. 

Based on our current test report, the degree of biodegradation is 91.6% in 168 days, better than the minimum requirement (at least 60% in two years). Our product also helps reduce CO2-e by 5.2 kg when using 1 kg of our product. This brings a huge impact for climate change compared with plastic recycling activities. 

Our products have a variety of applications in packaging and coating film (t-shirt bag, shrink film, agricultural mulch). We have successfully applied our resin to make cutlery, non-woven, bendable straws and some applications in medical devices.
